I’m participating in two bead swaps this year, and it’s kind of nuts. I spent part of my afternoon yesterday putting together the packages. This post may be kind of brief because I have a purring kitten in my lap who is also kind of gagging for some reason? I’m praying he doesn’t barf on my laptop.
So what’s that crazy photo above? That’s what I sent you Dolores! I say sent, but I actually haven’t been to the post office yet, so I’m writing about the future in the past tense or something. Anyway, isn’t it beautiful? I put it through two photo editing apps. One that swirls it, and one that gave it all those crazy colors. If you’re looking for an interesting photo editing app, you should download Prisma. It’s free, and it’s just cool. There’s tons of interesting art effects.
This blog hop is being hosted by Lori Anderson who is such a strong and inspirational person. And you should read her latest blog post because it is so my life. Falling down the stairs with 90 beads in my hand. Lori, we are kindered souls. I could write two posts from the last year. Falling down the stairs and shattering my brand new iphone with my asscheek which was IN AN OTTERBOX and the OTTERBOX was fine. Essentially, a two day headache and $200 fall down the stairs. And another time, falling down the stairs and breaking only my MIDDLE toe. We are beautiful, graceful people, and hey, maybe I should have stayed in that ballet class when I was eight.
So my partner for this hop is the wonderful Dolores. Her blog is CraftyD’s Creations. She has some really great pictures of card designs on her blog (in addition to jewelry), and an etsy shop with gorgeous felt embellishments. I also ‘borrowed’ a few pictures from her blog of some of her jewelry work!
Lots of gorgeous copper work, which I love, and I am kind of obsessed with that chain!
I can’t wait for Dolores to get my package, and to see what surprises she packed up for me! Tune in for my package reveal. Try to guess what was in mine below in the comments. Here’s that photo again for reference:
