This is a different photo for a different swap, but I did use the same image editing apps. I put it through two photo editing apps. One that swirls it, and one that gave it all those crazy colors. If you’re looking for an interesting photo editing app, you should download Prisma. It’s free, and it’s just cool. There are tons of interesting art effects.
For this swap, there wasn’t any particular theme, so I tried to cater my package as much to Claire as much as I could as well as incorporating a few challenge pieces. I have actually followed her blog for a while, and I believe her blog is how I discovered a bunch of my favorite bead artists, so hopefully I sent her some stuff she’ll love. I say sent… I’m going to the post office tomorrow.
Claire describes her work as “a little bit tribal and organic,” which I love, and it’s a style I feel I gravitate towards, especially when purchasing beads. Here’s a link to her blog, Saraccino. She lives in Germany and she recently got married and made her own wedding jewelry.
I borrowed a few pictures of some of her recent jewelry works from her blog, though she’s an all around wonderful artist.
I love the wood backgrounds too! Check out Claire’s Blog, and check back with me in a few weeks for my package reveal post!
